Art Table at Honey Bee Day

The day was beautiful!  I met so many nice people and I hope they enjoy what they purchased.  Now I turn my attention to my up coming classes!

Big news!  The Craft Shack Studio is moving!  They are staying in quaint, historic Longwood but are moving to a new location.  Because of this new opportunity we have cancelled my September classes until the move can be completed.  The owner of the Craft Shack Studio thinks the move should be completed near the end of September and we will be up and running for October.  I will post the new class dates as soon as we have them on the calendar.

Beads and Baubles

The honey bee expo is in Orlando this weekend and there's a table with my name on it.  I've been making jewelry to sell. I also plan on tangling while there and talking about the goodness of Zentangle® hopefully promoting my classes.  I think Wendy Neilson from British Columbia gave it the title of "tangling and chatting."  This will be a fun and interesting Saturday.

It's A String Thing

Because of my busy schedule I don't always get a chance to enter Adele Bruno's blog challenge, It's A String Thing.  That's not the case in Challenge 50 and 52.  Below you can see my tangles.

Challenge 52 is rather a significant one in that she celebrates her one year anniversary.  To mark the occasion she has created a string line that looks somewhat like a candle drawn with one continuous string.  I'd like to say, "Congratulations, Adele!"  It represents a lot of hard work and commitment.  Thanks for being such a vibrant part of the tangle community.

Bijou Tile Swap

When I found Zentangle® I went to their website and signed up for a class with a CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher).  Adele Bruno has been mentoring me for a year and I now consider her a friend.  I've been on the path with two others, Sindy P and Joan Delony.  Joan came up with and orchestrated the Bijou Tile Swap between the four of us.  This just arrived in the mail this week.  I love the simple tiles and how it's framed.  There's a tile from Adele, one from Sindy, another from Joan, and one tile of my own.  The four of us.  I think it's just lovely.
