Dr. Michael Greger's website,, breaks down the research and gives the guidelines necessary to build a healthy lifestyle.  His videos show newest research on the best foods to eat and things to avoid.

Along with Dr. Greger, I also follow the guidelines of Drs. Joel Fuhrman, Caldwell Esselstyn, T Colin Campbell, Neal Barnard, and John McDougall.  I eat a plant-based diet along with daily exercise.

Here are some recipes, both my favorites and those I'm giving a try.

3-2-1 Salad Dressing

I saw her on a You Tube being interviewed by Jeanne Schumaker.  She mentioned this salad dressing with no oil.  I'm going to give it a try.

3 Tbsp  Balsamic vinegar (or apple if you prefer)
2 Tbsp  mustard (any kind)
1 Tbsp  maple syrup (or other healthy sweetner)

Lentils & quinoa

"I love sandwiches; I love them everyone; If I had a hundred sandwiches; I'd eat them all at once!"  (This song I used to sing to my students.  Now my grandchildren hear me sing as I build my sandwich.)  Here's a lettuce, tomato, radish sandwich with hummus.  Yum!
